1,103 Steps, 51 Floors, 25Kg’s of kit – 1 BIG CAUSE!
Eight Emergency Response Members from OceanaGold attended the 2017 sky tower challenge this year along with over 900 New Zealand Firefighters. All for one amazing cause to raise money for Leukemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand.
The Macraes guys are the only guys using full BG4 UG rescue gear. This goes a long way to raise the awareness that such a capability within New Zealand exists.
With the support of the local and business community throughout Otago, these guys proudly raised over $18,000 dollars this year, and a running total over 5 years of over $50,000 dollars all going to the Leukemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand foundation.
