A Cat 5130 Rock Bucket rebuild completed for OceanaGold,
This project was to undertake major structural repairs and included the following scope of works;
- Cutting off old GET and wear componentry
- Crack testing all over and repairing
- Fitting new MTG StarMet adapters
- Fitting new MTG ProMet lip and side protectors
- Replacing the bottom floor section
- Fitting new G450 wear strips inside and out
- Fitting new heel shrouds
- Line boring ears and installing new bushes
Bucket capacity is 10.5 cubic metres and weighs approx. 13 tonnes.
