We’re the experts at processing the heaviest and hardest wear steel around, using large CNC Plasma/Gas cutting and drilling machines to ensure the highest precision and fast turnaround times. We can cut, bevel, drill, mill, tap and weld the hardest and thickest Abrasion Resistant steel to suit all types of bolt-on or weld-on applications. Read More about our profile cutting services.
Threaded studs are a great way of fastening steel liners to truck decks, hoppers, chutes, conveyors and many other applications, providing a fast change over time compared to welding.
With our Cutlass electric arc 2100 Stud Welder, we can attach threaded studs from 3mm – 22mm diameter to all types of steel grades, and any shape or size.
The extra advantage of studs is you can wear your plates much thinner than using a plow bolt or cap screw as the head eventually wears off and plates will come loose. Also ideal for any application where it is difficult to use a bolt or to weld.
